mmm, tums

Totally preoccupied to the point that you can't blog about it, so you can't blog about anything?
yup.

So scared you can barely stand it?
yup.

So happy you can barely stand it?
yup.

So tired that you wanna pull a George Castanza and go to sleep under your desk at work?
yup.

So nauseous that even your dad, going through chemotherapy, laughs at you?
yup.

Smell someone's disgusting ham sandwich two blocks away?
yup.

Just about at the point where you are able to stop freaking out every time you go to the bathroom, expecting to see blood?
yup.

Going to freak out for the next 6 1/2-ish months anyway?
yup.

yup.

Congratulations!

This was so perfect - preoccupied, scared, happy (in that order): those are indeed the most undeniable symptoms (though the ham sandwich is a good clue too). This post brought it all back to me so vividly!

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!

Congratulations.

And glad to hear that, whatever your dad is going through, he's able to laugh and share in this.

Brought to tears by the revelation that someone you've never even met is (fearfully) expecting?
yup.

So happy for you. As much as it sucks to suffer through the nausea, its supposed to be a good sign. Take good care of yourself!

Sorry about the morning sickness, but YAY!

Wow, pregnancy really seems to be spreading around the blogosphere right now, doesn't it? Don't drink the water unless you're serious, folks.

Mazel Tov! Fabulous news.

The smells did it for me. I could smell things from the next block!!

Sorry 'bout the nausea. I didn't have it too badly, but ritz crackers did it for me!

I am so happy for you! And, I read somewhere that the barffing is good thing. So keep up the good work!

Hurray! I always took the morning sickness as a VERY good sign, which was no small consolation while throwing up 10 times a day. You're going to have SO much fun with two!

Kelly said...

Ahhhh, the sweet sweet sound of morning retching...

I remember it well. It only detracts from the miracle ever-so-slightly. (Okay, sometimes a lot, but hey...)

Congratulations, and wishing you lots and lots of happy, contented, non-freaking-out months!

Redneck Mommy said...

I am so thrilled for you.

Congrats.

And happy puking. Because puking means baby is inside, growing...

WOOOHHHHOOO!

kittenpie said...

Ah, congratulations, lady!

(and not to be a downer, but I can understand why you'd be nervous, too. We're all pulling for you, honey! Bet it will be all good.)
