Poem for Mischa

There is no sunshine bright enough
There are no mornings light enough
There is no rainbow quite enough
As beautiful as you.

There are no whispers soft enough
Or heights that soar and loft enough
Or lines in poems oft enough
As gentle as are you.

There is no owl wise enough
Or mists that fall and rise enough
There are no other eyes enough
That see as clear as you.

There are no songs to sing enough
There are no bells to ring of enough
There are no gifts to bring enough
Than the gift to me that’s you.

And so, no fire warm enough
Nor bees that ever swarm enough
There are no words that form enough
To speak my love for you.
